About

About Catherine Bertrand & her book

Catherine Bertrand is drawing since childhood. Today, she decides to make artistic creation (illustrator, painter) her living.

After the attacks, her drawings were very interesting to her friends survivors from the Life For Paris association. That’s when she has had the idea to write a book.

After a first auto published version, a French book editor (Editions de la Martinière )has wished to publish it. Catherine promotes psychological care, and with this book, she invites broken families to reconnect, using a light and sometimes funny tone, to better understand the psychic injuries caused by terrorism.

The book has a therapeutic and educational scope. To testify, inform, educate younger generations are some of the goals of this book. This book had a universal reach.

Since 2018, she goes to high schools to testify , to fight against radicalization, explain the Post Traumatic Syndrom Disorder and promote therapy through artistic creation.

In 2019, the project goes further as she wants to translate the book in other languages to help all the victims of PTSD all around the world.
